A sudden surge in government action has sprung forth following the declaration of independence. A tidal wave of change brought about by 2 things. First was the governments growing wish to become a 6th world nation and improve many factors of our populations life. The second might surprise some of you. President Cartero Aldridge has announced that Arconia should be "focusing on what it can do to improve now" rather than what it might achieve later. This led to a number of decisions including the deemphasizing of the seasteading route. This is not to mean that Arconia will no longer seastead merely that it will not be putting the majority of it's time and money into a seastead. Preferring instead to work on things that impact citizens right now like the government, economy, and territory. Another potential decision that is being made in the government right now revolves around potentially sending a request to join/ally with the Empire of Stormaria. Not many details have been released yet but the president is expected to speak on this subject during a live recording of the only Arconian online radio show "Arconia Unveiled" which will come out in early April. Right now the President is discussing with the Minister of Foreign Affairs about the potential decision. Also, to note is the potential of Arconia to acquire a decent chunk of land to begin development this year.
